First it was Sean Connery, then Pierce Brosnan, so who's next? Pierce Brosnan has reportedly said that he isn't too keen on keeping the 007 tag for long. So who's going to save the world now, Hugh Jackman or Orlando Bloom? what's your take on who should be the next double O 7? The ongoing Poll on BBC's website, will help you narrow down your choices. Though, it features some weird options, including Mr. Been, Rowan Atkinson Imagine, him saying, "Bond ... James Bond", hmm, doesn't sound quite the same. No offense Rowan, but if ever there is a parady series on Bond films, you will be my first and only pick.
Surprisingly, the Poll doesn't list the name of Colin Farrell who until recently was the most likely contender for the job. Rumor's have it, that Pierce dismissed the fellow Irish actor's chances by insisting that he isn't bond material. So who's gonna be the next owner of the world famous secret agent's trademark tuxedo? ... well, its anybody's guess right now.

It seems like PHP 5's release candidate 3 will be the last of the series, so can we expect the final release soon? ... The answer is Yes! The final release is expected somewhere around mid of June. The new version promises to have some long awaited controls for better handling of objects. Though, I most excited about the inclusion of JAVA-like exception handling. The earlier version's had no such support; rather a nascent error handling mechanism was the sole weapon. With a shining new Zend 2 Engine, the version 5 promises a lot. Whether it delivers as expected, is yet to be seen..., but I among the hopeful ones.

The Big Red, Cornell, an Ivy League school founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell, and Andrew Dickson White, has always been ranked among the Top 5 schools for Computer Science and Engineering programs; I am very excited to have the opportunity to graduate and earn my Masters from one of the top institutions in the world. I had the privilege of being the Coach of the winning entry Team of Sars, an open scar. The entry won the Best of the Medicine and of Best of Under 19 Category. The team consists of members from 4 different continents (North America, Africa, Europe and Asia). The team has been invited by Oracle to San Francisco for an all-expense paid trip to Oracle ThinkQuest Live 2004 event at Oracle World. The team also won the top honors at the Cable & Wireless Childnet Awards held earlier this year in London. The website focuses on the recent global epidemic of Sars, and serves as a vast knowledge base on the topic.
The complete list of winners is available on the Oracle ThinkQuest website.

Yahoo.com has released a new version of its popular messaging tool. Downloaded more by more than 1.5 mil users, the version packs some decent upgrades. The shining new version includes some neat features; Personalized and fully configurable Avatar creation (What you want to be?).
Now, pouring out insults is completely verbal, literary! Adding a new dimension to text messaging are the new Flirt and Taunt Audibles. Ranging from Insults to simple Hellos, the new version is packaged with numerous Audible categories. Existing features like the Address Book and IMVironment(R) are among the redesigned and upgraded ones. Though, the later doesn't seem have any structural upgrades.
The software comes with a major face lift to the overall appeal. Adding to the Y! Identity is now a rather cute looking smiley. The aesthetics are well balanced and gel in with most color schemes. It now integrates with Yahoo's other portal services, such as photo sharing, online games, etc; another step towards the complete Yahoo! experience.
I find the new face lifts to be a welcome change; Though, on another note, these changes seem a rather delayed attempt to catch up with the smooth looking versions from some prominent competitors, who came up with similar facelifts a few months back.
Overall, with numerous new gismos added, version 6 seems well-planned if not the best-timed upgrade.
