Google recently came up with its
Desktop search, capable to index most Office file formats, AOL messages and Outlook mails. Interface is exactly like the web version though it indexes only text for now. Now the question is why would you use this on a Windows machine when you already have a perfectly capable Indexer/Search built-in Windows XP? Well becuase this is what everyone said when initial Google Web Search came and challenged Yahoo!. So, moral of the story, its Google, just try it coz it might just be the next big thing.
